الشتاء بدأ يطرق الأبواب مرسلاً نسماته الباردة
الساعة تُشير إلى الثانية ليلاً
سكنت الأرواح واستيقظت الذكريات
جلس الأب العجوز وابنه يتبادلون الاحاديث في أحد مقاهي الحي التي تشرع أبوابها حتى الفجر لأولئك الذين يوقض مضاجعهم الحنين

بدأ الاب شارد الذهن وكأن شبحه هو الذي على المقعد، أما جسده وعقله في مكانٍ آخر
نظر إليه ابنه وأدرك من حاله أن شيئًا ما يختلج روحه
